I’m starting this blog mostly because, like other audio commentators, I see things that I think you’d enjoy and therefore that I’d like to share. And, given that The Absolute Sound is rather full of long-form reviews, I thought it might be helpful to our dear readers to have something different. So, I want to aim for short-form content, but I’ll probably sometimes deliver long-form content when needed or when my thoughts aren’t clear enough for concision.
I also don’t plan to put tight boundaries on what lands here. That’s because what is interesting and fun and noteworthy is quite diverse. That said, I do have a special interest in the ways we think about audio and music, especially when the conceptual structure we use to approach audio or music has an effect on the pleasure we get from the hobby or impact that the music has on us.
If philosophy is the “love of wisdom”, you may better comprehend the title of the blog. I hope to share some fun and interesting thoughts and music and observations that are part of the searching process that comes from that love.
